Back in the saddle again

After a long and luxurious vacation at the beach, I bid farewell to my pretend life of a rich heiress and come back to the real world of work and grocery shopping. That's right, folks. Mary Riedel has returned to San Antonio. I know you all missed me.

First day back was okay. TV messed up first thing this morning, but otherwise it was a pretty good day. And tomorrow's Friday - world's shortest work week! I think I'll have Derek take me out for a hard two day's work...

Saturday some friends from church are having a LOTR marathon starting at 10:00 am and ending with a fajita cookout that evening. You know where I'll be all day! Next week is going to hit me like a ton of bricks...yikes. Oh well. At least someone is having a good time - my parents leave tomorrow for a cruise in the Carribbean! Someday I'll be able to do that...
