Spring Break!!!!!!!

Yea! It's that time of the year that everyone loves. The air is getting warmer, the sun is out more (except for today apparently), and you get a break from school. My family came in from Abilene this past weekend and stayed until Wednesday morning. We had a grand ole' time, seeing the sights, going to Sea World, walking along the Riverwalk (by the way, if anyone ever comes to visit us, that is where we take you--the Riverwalk). It was good to see the fam again, and they actually got to stay for more than 24 hours this time.

Today is exciting because my best friend Angela is coming to visit and is bringing along a friend from Montevideo, Uruguay that we met while spending a semester down there. Her name is Ximena and I haven't seen her in three years!!! We'll have a good time hanging out this weekend.

Also, Derek has been gone since Monday, camping out with his best friend/college roommie, Eric Abercrombie (no relation to the clothing line, I'm told). They'll be trekking it back to SA today, so I'm excited about seeing him as well. I think this is the first time we've been away from each other for more than a day or two since we got married. It's been kinda lonely while he was gone...so I'll be really happy to see him. :-)
